The name "SLK" in SLK Group is inspired by Mr. Shantanurao Laxmanrao Kirloskar, the man who was instrumental behind the rapid growth of the Kirloskar Industries.

SLK was a picture of strong determination and believed in achieving his goals. He was a global thinker and an innovator who had the confidence in the potential of India even before independence. He often said, "Economic preparedness is as vital as military preparedness." He was a futurist who always worked towards making India globally competitive.

The SLK Group takes great pride in being named after such a pioneer; a man who knew how to overcome all hurdles placed before him and always achieved the desired goals. Today, we salute the great man for believing that there is no replacement for hard work.
